If you're a mom, then you know that time is like a coveted black market commodity. When your day starts early and your to-do list is a mile long, it so easy to skip a workout because of time. But the beauty of exercise is that you don't have to devote hours and hours a week to your fitness in order to stay healthy. Sometimes just twenty minutes a day is all it can take to boost your mood, give you some extra energy and keep your body in check.
I love finding new workouts online and a quick, short (but effective!!) workout is my jam these days. I wanted to share with you some of my favorite routines. Sometimes I throw them in here or there throughout the day, sometimes it's after a morning run, and sometimes I finish up my day with a quick routine while watching some mindless reality TV.
If you're a new mom, or a mom to many, or just short on time, below are some of my favorite ways to squeeze some exercise into an already packed day:
Get Up Before your Crew
Invest in a bike trailer
Bedtime Cardio Party
These routines are just a few that you can find online....seriously -- it's amazing what is out there these days. Check out my Pinterest Page of Workouts here or my YouTube Playlists of workouts by category.
And if you do miss a day, don't beat yourself up. It's a roller coaster ride when you're a busy mom to one or you have a few in tow. Just keep trying to squeeze in a few moves or walks here or there and eventually you'll be ready for a more schedule routine (like in 18 years or so, right?)
